Making of My Doohd.

In Fall 2023, I entered the IMDA (Intermedia and Digital Art) MFA program at UMBC after working professionally in graphic design, marking a significant shift in both my creative process and artistic perspective. Moving from a commercially driven design practice into a studio art environment encouraged me to reconsider my relationship to making, materiality, and labor. One of my primary goals was to move away from exclusively screen-based media and reconnect with hand-made processes, exploring how physical materials, craft, and tactile forms could reshape both the meaning and experience of my work.
